Why can I not highlight scanned PDF documents?
Scanned image-based documents that have not been OCR’d by Acrobat so the text in the document is not recognized as true text, cannot be highlighted.
If you have a scanned image-based PDF file that you wish to highlight text, make sure that the file has been analyzed for text recognition by Adobe Acrobat so that the text has been indexed and is accessible by both Adobe and RepliGo Reader. Not all scanned PDF have been thru this process by the author. Your file has likely not been thru this process so RepliGo Reader cannot process the text for highlighting.
