RepliGo Server 2.0 Release Notes

 
These release notes contain general information for RepliGo Server 2.0.
 
New Features:
Network Access:
Provides access to the company network for viewing documents stored on shared network drives.
Integrated Faxing:
Provides full faxing capabilities directly from BlackBerry devices.
Bluetooth Wireless Printing:
Enables on-demand printing to HP compatible Bluetooth® printers.
BlackBerry Browser Integration:
Integrates with the BlackBerry® Browser to provide hyperlink access to documents on intranets, in Microsoft® SharePoint®, and on the Internet.
Document Sending via Email:
Gives users the ability to attach and send original documents in a new email.
Personal Document Storage:
Allows users to save and manage a personal list of documents that they can refer to at any time.
Bookmarks and Hyperlinks:
Provides bookmarks, email, phone, web and document hyperlinks, making it easy to navigate even the longest of documents.
Multilanguage Documents:
Supports document viewing in virtually any language.
   
  *NOTE: Enabling Network Access will display all computers in a domain or workgroup. In large organizations, this list may be too long to display or cumbersome to navigate. This is only recommended for small to medium sized networks where these issues do not exist.
 
Upgrading:

Upgrading your existing installation of RepliGo Server to version 2.0 does NOT require a sequential upgrade from previous versions. The upgrade installer will work on any previous version.

Before upgrading, it may be a good idea to make a copy of your current license.key file which can be found in the RepliGo Server directory on the machine where RepliGo Server is installed, for example: C:\Program Files\RepliGo Server.

Also, make sure to stop the BlackBerry Controller Service and the Windows Management Instrumentation Service before performing the upgrade. Once complete, restart these services.

The upgrades need to be run on both machines in a two-machine RepliGo Server installation, where RepliGo is on a separate machine than the BES it is servicing.
