RepliGo Server 1.2 Release Notes

 
These release notes contain general information for RepliGo Server 1.2.
 
Version 1.2 Release:
Improved socket resource handling and retry between the BES extension and RES
Improved fidelity for FAX/scanned pages
Improved rendering of binary and multi-bit pages
Improved readability and compression
Fixed Administrator Monitor page not archiving rolled over log files
 
Upgrading:

Upgrading your existing installation of RepliGo Server to version 1.2 must be done sequentially. This means that if you currently have 1.0, you must first upgrade to 1.1, then 1.2.

Before upgrading, it may be a good idea to make a copy of your current license.key file which can be found in the RepliGo Server directory on the machine where RepliGo Server is installed, for example: C:\Program Files\RepliGo Server.

Also, make sure to stop the BlackBerry Controller service and the Windows Management Instrumentation service before performing the upgrade. Once complete, restart these services.

The upgrades must be completed in a sequential order. If a version is skipped, an error message will appear, "RepliGo Server is not installed." The upgrades for 1.0 and 1.1 need to be run on both machines in a two-machine RepliGo Server installation, where RepliGo is on a separate machine than the BES it is servicing.
