Q: What does RepliGo Professional do?
A: RepliGo Professional for BlackBerry is a service which allows you to view email attachments like the original, organize, save, and store documents offline, fax and print documents, and even send stored original documents — all directly from your BlackBerry!

With version 2.0, you can store up to 500 MB of documents to your online account. Fax original documents to over 25 countries worldwide. Print to HP Bluetooth enabled printers. Send original documents via email. Tag documents for easy sorting and organizing. Navigate with live links from within documents to the BlackBerry browser, email and phone applications.

RepliGo Professional supports viewing Adobe® PDF, Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint®, WordPerfect, .RTF, .CSV, OpenOffice files, zip archives, fax and most popular image files.

   
Q: Which BlackBerry devices does it support?
A: BlackBerry 7100 Series, 7200 Series, 7500 Series, 7700 Series, 8100 Series, 8700 Series devices with OS version 4.0 and above. Printing is supported only on the 8100 and 8700 Series devices.
   
Q: I've changed devices and need to set up RepliGo on my new BlackBerry?
A: Visit our download page to have an email sent to your device with a link to download and install the software to your new BlackBerry. Once installed, open RepliGo on the BlackBerry and choose Options from the menu. Then enter your existing RepliGo username and password and select Log In from the menu. If you cannot remember your username and/or password, contact support to have your username looked up and your password reset.
   
Q: Are my files encrypted while on the RepliGo.net servers?
A: Yes. Documents saved in your RepliGo.net account are encrypted for security.
   
Q: How quickly should I receive a response back when I send an attachment?
A: It mainly depends on the size of the file. Also, network traffic, proxies, and firewalls can affect response times. However, normal usage should see less than a minute for a response back from the service.
   
Q: How is it different from my current attachment service?
A: RepliGo Professional keeps the document's original formatting, fonts, graphics, colors, images, etc. intact. Other attachment services merely return stripped text or an image of the page. RepliGo Professional uses its own file format specifically designed for optimization on the device.
   
Q: Can I view documents in languages other than English?
A: Yes. RepliGo Professional has full Unicode support which means virtually any language can be displayed correctly. Even right-to-left reading languages such as Hebrew and Arabic correctly re-flow in Read mode.
   
Q: Can I use the RepliGo Professional with BlackBerry Enterprise Server?
A: Yes. RepliGo Professional can be used when the device is part of a corporate BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) environment or it can be used with a personal BlackBerry (WEB) account.

NOTE: If your device is part of a BlackBerry Enterprise Server environment, please check with your IT department or Network Administrator for proper permissions for installing third-party applications and services.

   
Q: How many files can I upload to my account on www.repligo.net?
A: You can save up to 500 MB of documents to your account.
   
Q: Can I really fax original documents?
A: Yes. RepliGo allows you to fax original documents from your online account to any fax machine or electronic fax service to over 25 countries worldwide. See the User Guide for a list of supported countries. There is a limit of 20 pages per month. If your needs are greater, contact sales@cerience.com for more information.
   
Q: I'm a 1.X subscriber and need to upgrade to 2.0. Is this a free upgrade?
A: Yes. To upgrade, visit our download page. It's free and all your settings are retained.
   
Q: Can I print the documents from the BlackBerry?
A:

Yes. However, only the 8700 and 8100 devices are supported for printing. Also, the printer must be HP PCL3 compatible and Bluetooth enabled. For more specific information regarding printing and supported printers, see the System Requirements.

   
Q: Can I edit the documents on the BlackBerry?
A: No. RepliGo Professional does not support editing the documents directly on the BlackBerry.
   
Q: Can I save the documents to the device?
A: Yes. RepliGo Professional allows you to save your document attachments direct to the device for later referencing, offline viewing, and archiving. The files are also saved to your online account at www.repligo.net.
   
Q: Why do the attachments have to be converted first?
A: The RepliGo Professional service converts the original file to optimize the viewing experience on the device and increase wireless data transmission speeds. Viewing the original (native) file would not be possible or efficient given the hardware and network constraints.
   
Q: Does the conversion result in smaller file sizes?
A: Yes. The RepliGo Professional conversion process compresses files by over 50% on average. This greatly increases performance on the BlackBerry and data transmission speeds over the wireless network. Plus, it reduces the data bandwidth usage.
