Cerience Releases RepliGo Reader 2.0 for Android
New Version Combines Major Speed Improvements with Several Usability Enhancements
Fort Collins, CO – December 15, 2009 – Cerience Corporation today announced the immediate availability RepliGo™ Reader 2.0 for Android™, a major upgrade to its native PDF viewing software for Android smartphones. RepliGo Reader integrates with Gmail, the Android browser, and the device’s media card for quick and easy access to native PDF files without a backend server or subscription service. The solution is currently one of the top paid productivity applications in the Android Market™.
The new version offers the following key features:
- Major speed improvements. Pages are smartly cached making it faster switch to new pages or back to pages already viewed.
- New Select Text feature for copying text to the clipboard and pasting it into other applications.
- New Rotate feature enables documents to be rotated left, right or 180°. This feature makes it easier to read documents that are in the wrong orientation.
- New double-tap support. Tapping twice quickly will zoom into a specific location on a page. Double-tapping again will zoom back out.
